The SLAM program was developed to advance learning opportunities for children from all walks of life by making academic material relevant through sports-infused lessons. We are working to inspire lifelong learners to pursue academic and personal excellence persistently.
Moving from K-5 to our Middle and High Schools we keep the sports-infused lessons, in the core classes, and add a SLAM elective. Starting in middle school, students begin to explore careers available through project-based learning.
In High School, students have the opportunity to hone their interest in one of our four CTE programs. These courses are not electives, while students have a choice on what area they focus on, these courses should be treated similarly to the core coursework in how they follow the progression to graduate with an endorsement and certificate.
**All courses can be tested for industry certifications.
The vision is to position students for future success in a global job market, equip them with the skills to pursue their passions; and develop their character to make a positive impact on society.
